Bring on the drool!

Here are some updated stats on the little man:

* He's now over 25 inches and 15 pounds.
* His favorite sound to make is a hard "G" (as in great).
* He produces enough drool to keep the Central Park pool full.

Anyone feel like swimming??

Caleb continues to smile and make lots of noise. He still loves being in the Genius Machine, and loathes tummy time. ("Loathe" is a big word for a 3 month-old, but he said it was appropriate, so there you go.) We've been having fun running errands and visiting stores and restaurants all over the city. He sleeps through most of the adventures, and while a sleeping Caleb is still as adorable as an awake Caleb, I figured the pictures would get a little redundant.

I go back to work in a week so I've been to school a lot recently to help me transition. All the teachers are amazed at how mellow he is! We'll be standing in the hallway as 300 kids are walking past us talking and shouting at the top of their lungs, and Caleb stays calm. (Thank you Jonathan!) Our mellow man has been sleeping through the night for about 2 1/2 weeks now, except the past few nights he's been up a lot so he might be going through a growth spurt.

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks:

PLAYING IN THE GENIUS MACHINE (He grabs on to the toys by himself!)

IN A BEAUTIFUL SWEATER (ESPECIALLY KNIT FOR ME BY GEE GEE'S FRIEND ANN) THAT I WILL ATTEMPT TO EAT FOR LUNCH

DROOLING ON THE TUMMY MAT

GQ PHOTO SHOOT (Notice the crossed legs!)

IN A CHAIR WHERE SOMEDAY MY FEET WILL BE ABLE TO TOUCH THE GROUND (But my momma's still won't!)

AFTER THE SHOWER (Does anyone know how to make a digital white sticker dot?)

STANDING ON PAPA

WITH MY FRIEND ATTICUS THE FINCH. (We also have a gnome named Chomsky. 10 points if you know what I'm talking about.)

Almost as good as seeing the little man in person! What a cutie--but then look who his parents are.
Grandmas can be biased; it's their privilege.
