Rollin', rollin', rollin', keep that baby rollin'

Now Caleb does more than just eat, sleep, and poop...HE ROLLS OVER BY HIMSELF! Yesterday morning he was lying on his back and he swung his right leg up in the air, which propelled him onto his side. He hung out on his side for a while debating his next move, and after a few minutes he kept rolling onto his tummy! His left arm was stuck underneath him and he was desperately trying to get it out, but since he couldn't find a way he just started fussing and I picked him up. I was so proud of him! He ended up rolling over 2 more times yesterday evening, and by the third time he figured out how to get that other arm out from underneath him so that he was ultimately propped up on both elbows. He even kept rolling from his stomach onto his back!

**This entry makes it sound like he's rolling over at warp speed, but really the whole process took a few minutes.**

Iwannadrinksomecoffee!

Caleb is just like his papa - groggy in the morning until he gets his coffee! (But don't worry...he didn't actually drink any.)

Bring on the drool!

Here are some updated stats on the little man:

* He's now over 25 inches and 15 pounds.
* His favorite sound to make is a hard "G" (as in great).
* He produces enough drool to keep the Central Park pool full.

Anyone feel like swimming??

Caleb continues to smile and make lots of noise. He still loves being in the Genius Machine, and loathes tummy time. ("Loathe" is a big word for a 3 month-old, but he said it was appropriate, so there you go.) We've been having fun running errands and visiting stores and restaurants all over the city. He sleeps through most of the adventures, and while a sleeping Caleb is still as adorable as an awake Caleb, I figured the pictures would get a little redundant.

I go back to work in a week so I've been to school a lot recently to help me transition. All the teachers are amazed at how mellow he is! We'll be standing in the hallway as 300 kids are walking past us talking and shouting at the top of their lungs, and Caleb stays calm. (Thank you Jonathan!) Our mellow man has been sleeping through the night for about 2 1/2 weeks now, except the past few nights he's been up a lot so he might be going through a growth spurt.

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks:
